Worship
Our Worship Service begins on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m.
Children and adults are encouraged to participate in worship in various manners such as reading Scripture, being in the Choir, being ushers and greeters and many other ways. There are several visitors parking spots closest to the main doors. Once inside, greeters will answer any questions you might have. Come as You Are -Dress however you like. At AUMC you’ll see blue jeans and three-piece suits alike.
All are welcome to join us for our Fellowship Luncheon on the 2nd Sunday of each month after Worship.
We serve Communion as part of our Worship service on the first Sunday of each month. The United Methodist Church practices an open Communion. Everyone, including children, who wish to receive are welcome to participate. We serve unfermented grape juice (not wine). You do not have to be a member of this, or any United Methodist church. All that is required is that you accept that Christ died for you. At the appropriate time in the service, the ushers will invite those who wish to partake to come forward and receive a small piece of bread and a small cup of juice. Occasionally Communion will be offered at other special services and in other manners such as dipping the bread into the cup.
Feel free to come and worship with us on Sunday, or attend Sunday School or one of our meetings or activities.
Please contact us if you have any questions or would like the pastor or a layperson to call you.
